Important things to help this drive run smoothly (all points are mentioned in the scout form and unit leader form):
- The Good Turn Material Drive will run from February 6 – 13, 2010
- Scouts should collect gently used items from family and friends.
- Scouts can make donations at Goodwill retail stores during Good Turn Week.
- Each scout that donates at least one 13 gallon tall kitchen bag full of donations will receive a Good Turn patch.
- When making their donations, scouts should be sure to have a Goodwill employee sign the back of their donation form.
- Unit leaders will collect the completed scout forms from their scouts and forward them to Jeff Bays.
- All forms must be submitted by February 22, 2010 to be eligible for patches.
- Patches will be distributed by the Boy Scout Council at the April 2010 roundtable meetings.
